Abstract
A randomized controlled trial assessed the efficacy of a mobile app for diabetes self-management in rural India. The intervention group (n = 150) showed a 1.5% greater reduction in HbA1c levels compared to controls (n = 150) after 6 months (p < 0.001). User engagement data highlighted the app's role in improving medication adherence.
