Résumé
This article examines how cultural norms, caregiving practices, and community structures influence the integration of Early Childhood Development (ECD) interventions within Kenya's Baby-Friendly Community Initiative (BFCI). Drawing on mixed-methods research across rural communities, the study identifies key facilitators' including strong community health networks and barriers such as traditional beliefs, gender roles, and socioeconomic limitations. Findings highlight the need for culturally grounded programming that aligns nutrition and ECD messaging, strengthens caregiver engagement, and leverages community support systems to enhance child development outcomes.
