This simulation study evaluated the effectiveness of BMI-sensitive breast cancer screening strategies for women in Ghana. Using a tumor-growth modeling framework, the study compared multiple screening intervals and modalities across BMI categories. Results indicate that women with higher BMI may benefit from earlier and more frequent screening due to faster tumor progression and later presentation. Findings highlight the need for differentiated, context-specific screening guidelines to improve early detection and survival outcomes.
