Abstract
This study examined the acceptability, feasibility, and perceived appropriateness of a mobile phone based message-framing intervention designed to improve maternal and newborn care practices. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study assessed user engagement, message clarity, and practical integration into routine maternal health services. Results indicated high acceptability among women and health workers, with positive perceptions of message relevance and cultural adaptability. The findings highlight the potential of mobile phone messaging as a scalable approach to strengthening maternal and newborn health behaviors.
