The 2022-2026 Resource Mobilization Strategy for African Population and Health Center (APHRC) is a blueprint that demonstrates a clear, systematic and well-coordinated approach to the acquisition and management of organizational resources at the Center. APHRC brings together a multi-disciplinary team of African scholars to lead the development of priority research programs and promote the use of research findings for policy formulation and program improvement in sub-Saharan Africa. The organization’s theory of change maps out the steps that form the pathway of sustained policy-oriented research. To actualize our theory of change, we have designed numerous programs as highlighted in our 2022-2026 Strategic Plan. In this strategic period, we intend to move from simply measuring traditional academic outputs or the numbers of grants obtained and papers published, to measuring success by outcomes and impact. The focus will be on how well the evidence we generate and the research leaders we nurture contribute to change in policies, programs and practices.en_US
