Abstract
This blog highlights the urgency of addressing the global water crisis through multi-stakeholder collaboration, innovative financing, and technological solutions, especially in the context of Kenya's water and sanitation challenges under Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6. It describes key gaps in access to safely managed water and sanitation, the impact of climate change including glacier melt on water resources, and the need for integrated investment models such as public-private partnerships and climate financing. The Kenya Water & Sanitation International Conference & Exhibition 2025 is featured as a pivotal platform for convening policymakers, researchers, industry leaders, and communities to co-create climate-smart, sustainable pathways for water resilience and sanitation equity. The African Population and Health Research Center's role in shaping evidence-driven dialogue and policy action is also emphasized.
