Abstract
The Blantyre Prevention Strategy (BPS) is a comprehensive initiative aimed at strengthening the Blantyre district health system to address the persistent burden of new HIV infections. Grounded in local data and resources, the strategy promotes co-creation through stakeholder mapping and active engagement to develop a sustainable, responsive, and collaborative approach. Central to BPS is a commitment to continuous learning using regular assessments, open communication, and adaptive management to identify implementation challenges and refine interventions in real time. This policy brief highlights key insights, progress, and lessons learned from the strategy to inform policy and practice in HIV prevention.
