Abstract
This study investigates the disparities in health-related and skill-related physical fitness among Kenyan children residing in urban and rural settings. Utilizing data from the Kenya-LINX project, the research assesses various fitness parameters to understand how environmental factors influence children's physical development. The findings reveal significant differences in fitness profiles between urban and rural children, highlighting the impact of lifestyle and access to resources on physical health outcomes. These insights are crucial for developing targeted interventions to promote physical well-being among children in diverse Kenyan contexts
