dc.description.abstract | The A LOT-Change project is a community based after-school support program that has been implemented in Korogocho and Viwandani since 2013. The program is being implemented in conjunction with Miss Koch Kenya (MKK) and U-Tena Youth Organization. This project is motivated by the need to have an integrated approach to improve learning outcomes, psychosocial wellbeing and behavior among adolescent girls and boys. The first phase (2013-2015) only targeted adolescent girls in grades 6-8 and comprised of homework support in numeracy and literacy, life skills mentoring, parental counseling, and transition to secondary school subsidy. | en_US |
