Abstract

A modular, context?specific Research Readiness Assessment Survey (RRAS) was developed to evaluate institutional research capacity across African institutions. This tool is designed to identify key readiness challenges, facilitate targeted improvement, and support implementation of research readiness interventions to enhance capacity for conducting high?quality research. The paper describes the development process, piloting, and application outcomes of the modular assessment tool in diverse institutional settings.
