Financial inclusion and sleep problems in later stages of life: estimating mediation by emotional pain and food insecurity

Abstract

Investigating the link between financial inclusion and sleep quality in older adults, this study tests mediation pathways through emotional pain and food insecurity. Results suggest that improved financial access may reduce sleep problems by alleviating psychological distress and material hardship.
