Abstract
This study evaluated the combined effect of safe water delivery interventions and behavior change communication on diarrheal disease prevalence among children under five in Nairobi's informal settlements. Using a quasi-experimental design, the study found significant reductions in diarrheal episodes among households receiving treated water coupled with WASH-focused health education. The findings demonstrate the importance of integrating infrastructure improvements with sustained behavior change strategies to achieve meaningful health impacts in urban slums.
