Abstract

This commentary calls for open, evidence-based public dialogue on HPV vaccination programs in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), highlighting the critical importance of community engagement, transparent communication, and culturally sensitive health messaging to address vaccine hesitancy and increase uptake. The paper underscores that cervical cancer disproportionately affects women in LMICs, and that HPV vaccination remains one of the most cost-effective preventive strategies available.
