dc.description.abstract | In Senegal, despite the numerous efforts made in recent years to reduce inequalities in access to essential health services, little data evidence has been produced to understand intra-urban disparities in access to cesarean section. The objective of this study is therefore to assess socio-spatial inequalities in access cesarean section services among women living in the slums of Senegal's capital. More specifically, it aims to: determine the geographic accessibility of health establishments healthcare offering cesarean section in Dakar compared to slums, analyze financial accessibility to cesarean section, explore the perceptions and experiences of cesarean section among women in slums of Dakar, study the practices and experiences of cesarean section among staff health of public and private health establishments in Dakar. | |
